NAME

stronos configure agent: Full agent workspace guide

SYNOPSIS

stronos configure agent

DESCRIPTION

Everything you need to configure an Assistant or Lead Generator on the agent page: each tab, every important input, and how to save and publish.

Open the agent workspace

  1. Go to Agents.
  2. Click an agent row to open its workspace.
  3. You land on that agent page with a Build and Review sidebar on the left and settings on the right.

Assistant and Lead Generator use the same full set of tabs. Automation agents use a shorter path described at the end of this page.

How to save and update

Most edits stay in a local draft until you publish. Use Previous and Next at the bottom to move between tabs. Nothing is live for customers until you publish (except a few items noted below).

  • Publish agent: main save button in the toolbar and sidebar. Writes the full agent packet, regenerates channel prompts, and syncs connected social AI settings. If voice is on and a voice agent already exists, publish also syncs voice.
  • Unpublished changes: Publish turns amber when the draft differs from what is live. Click Publish to push updates.
  • AI Level: choosing a tier on Personality (or in the header) saves that choice right away.
  • Knowledge libraries: use Save libraries on the Knowledge tab, or include them when you Publish.
  • Calendar connect: Google, Outlook, and Calendly connect or remove immediately. Booking toggles still need Publish.
  • Voice Create voice agent and Save and sync: create or refresh the phone agent in Retell. After knowledge changes that should affect calls, open Voice and sync again.
  • No Discard button: if you leave without publishing, the last published config stays live and your unpublished draft edits are not applied.

  • Business name and timezone
  • At least one channel enabled
  • Handoff destinations, or handoff off on all channels
  • Retell connected if voice is on
  • Twilio connected if SMS or missed call text back is on
  • Instagram or Facebook account connected if those channels are on
  • Services and order confirmation when ordering is on
  • Comment reply or moderation types when those features are on

Setup progress percent follows required Review checks only (not warnings).

Review: Compliance

Read only preview of compliance opening lines Stronos injects per enabled channel (Voice assistant recording line; SMS and missed call text back including STOP and rates language; Instagram DM; Facebook DM; Instagram comments; Facebook comments). You do not edit these here. Enable channels to see their previews.

Review: Usage

Read only production usage and estimated pricing for this agent. Pick a period (Today, Yesterday, Week, Month, or Custom), review charts and charges, and see per channel estimates and token estimates. No Publish needed.

Automation agents (shorter path)

If the agent type is Automation, the sidebar is one Automation group instead of full Build and Review:

  • Automations (or your template title): keyword flow or SMS mass send setup, with its own Save actions.
  • Posts: choose Instagram or Facebook posts for keyword automations.
  • Contacts: for SMS subscriber mass send, pick contacts (Save selection).
  • Channels: Connect Instagram and Facebook, or Send from SMS number for mass SMS.

Use Save on the automation panels for flow pieces, and the sidebar Save for Automation when shown. That path is not the full conversational packet used by Assistant and Lead Generator.
