NAME

stronos create agent: Create an assistant

SYNOPSIS

stronos create agent

DESCRIPTION

Create an agent from Agents (or Automations for automation types), run the Set up guide, configure each workspace tab, then publish to launch.

Create from Agents

  1. Open Agents (/agents) from the left sidebar under Build.
  2. Click the Create an Agent button (top of the agents list).
  3. Enter a display name for the agent.
  4. Choose a type: Assistant (general AI), Lead Generator (capture contact info), or Automation (keyword comment/DM flows).
  5. Optionally pick a template such as Receptionist, Appointment Booking, or Keyword response.
  6. For Assistant, when offered, open Set up guide to walk through the first-time wizard.
  7. Click through the guide and finish with Create agent.

Set up guide (Assistant)

  1. Bot name — set the customer-facing name.
  2. GPT / AI tier — pick Keep costs low, Balanced, or Best quality (cost vs quality).
  3. Google Business search/import — optional; skip if you do not need it.
  4. Website scrape — optional; scrape your site into knowledge later if skipped.
  5. About / description — describe the business, then click Create agent.

After creation — open the workspace

  1. You land on (or open) the agent workspace from the Agents list by clicking the agent row.
  2. Use the Build and Review sidebar on the left to move between tabs (Personality, Channels, Knowledge, Calendar, Voice, Escalation, and related steps).
  3. Fill each tab carefully — see Configure agent docs for every input on every tab.
  4. Use Previous / Next at the bottom to move between tabs. Edits stay in a draft until you publish.
  5. Click Publish agent in the toolbar or sidebar to save and launch the live agent for customers.
  6. If voice is enabled, create or sync the voice agent from the Voice tab after publishing knowledge changes.

Automations: create from Automations (/automations) instead when you need keyword comment-to-DM workflows. Knowledge: add libraries under Knowledge base (/knowledge-base) and link them on the agent Knowledge tab before publish.
